STROOOM HOME
Feed-in less.
Save more.
Take control of your own energy. Strooom Home looks ahead at the sun, your usage and prices, and picks the best moment to charge, heat, or wait.
After net metering
Net metering is ending. Your savings don't have to.
Without net metering, electricity you feed back is worth far less than electricity you use yourself. That's why Strooom.ai automatically decides when to store, use directly, or still feed back your energy — based on your solar surplus, your usage and the prices at that moment.
Up to €1,000 per year.*

saved with smart steering
Smart steering lowers your energy bill. Every single day.
Indicative calculation
What can smart steering do for you?
Fill in your situation and instantly see how self-consumption, grid usage and savings roughly compare. The outcome is an indication to get a feel for it, not a quote.
Home battery: high power, so it charges and discharges more often and faster on dynamic rates.

Storage
Two routes to smarter self-consumption.
Which battery fits mainly depends on how much solar you generate and how much you use. Starting small is always possible; expanding too.

The P1 port
The small connector that makes your energy visible.
Through the P1 port of your smart meter, we see how much you draw from the grid, how much you feed back, and what your home uses itself. Strooom combines that with the weather, prices, your battery's status and the devices you've connected.
- Use what you're generating right now
- Store what you'll need soon
- Shift to a more favourable moment
- Feed back when it's actually worthwhile
P1 connectorThermal flexibility
Your home can store energy without a battery.
Underfloor heating, the hot water tank and the building itself hold heat for a while. Strooom uses favourable moments to build up that heat in advance, so less energy is needed later. This always happens within the temperature you find comfortable, so in practice you barely notice it.

Virtual thermal charge status, continuously estimated based on your home and the weather.
Future grid tariffs
Soon it won't just be how much energy you use, but also when.
The grid is getting busier and tariffs increasingly move with that congestion pattern. A home that can shift its usage is simply better prepared for that.

Low grid demand
Store energy
Peak grid demand
Shift usage
Solar surplus
Charge battery
High demand again
Discharge battery
That's how Strooom Home prepares your house for an energy system in which flexibility becomes ever more valuable.
