1. Who this statement applies to

This statement applies to:

  • visitors of our websites (strooom.ai and subdomains);
  • people who contact us or request a demo;
  • business partners and their employees who work with us or use our platform services.

2. Two roles: controller and processor

Strooom provides the StrooomEngine platform to business partners (installers, energy advisers, manufacturers and energy companies). These partners offer energy services to their customers under their own brand.

  • For data of website visitors, contacts and partners, we are the data controller. This statement applies to that data.
  • For data of end users of our partners (for example meter data, device data and account data in an app running on StrooomEngine), we are the processor and the partner is the data controller. The privacy statement of the relevant partner then applies. We process this data solely on the basis of a data processing agreement with the partner and according to its instructions.
